Rovagnati Cotto Gran Biscotto takes your ham and cheese sandwich to a whole new level. It’s hard to find, but worth the hunt.

Rao’s Tomato Sauce

Some call it gravy while others call it sauce. Regardless of what you call it, homemade is best! But when you don’t have the time you need to turn to jarred sauce. I like to use Rao’s sauce in my times of need.

Best Curry Sauce

I rarely find sauces or mixes or anything packaged to be very good. But Sukhi’s Classic Indian Curry Sauce is delicious and easy. It is as good, if not better, than anything you’ll have at an Indian restaurant.

Calabro Ricotta

Making my own ricotta cheese is on my never ending ‘to-do’ list! Until I get around to that, I need to continue to buy it pre-made. This is not a bad thing because I am addicted to the Calabro brand ricotta. I love it- I just eat it right out of the tub! Its light and fluffy and flavored perfectly!

Olive Oil Spray

Sometimes you just don’t want all that oil coating the bottom of your pan, but you also don’t want anything to stick so that is when olive oil spray comes in handy. I find that Trader Joe’s makes the best one for the best price so I stock up when I go. Remember- don’t use it on a stainless steel pan- it is impossible to get off. Use On non-stick pans only!

Sour Cream

I discovered Alexrod Sour cream about a year ago. I love it because of its texture. It doesn’t have that watery film on the top when you open it like some other brands. Its downfall? It never seams to be on sale!

Jarred Crushed Garlic

I bet some of you are saying, “What? She uses jarred garlic?” The answer- sometimes, yes I do. But only after I discovered Trader Joe’s crushed garlic.

Blood Mary Mix

I was very excited to recently come across this Blood Mary mix. It’s my new favorite thing!

Taco Seasoning and Shells

Taco night has, and always will be, my favorite go-to meal! I have tried all the brands of seasonings and shells and have even made my own, but in the end, I just love Ortega Taco product line!

The best canned tomatoes

A good example of why you should never judge a book by its cover! These are the least decorative in terms of label design but they are also the most flavorful. I will not use any other brand.

Ina Garten is my hero in the kitchen and all of her ‘barefoot contessa’ recipe books are, in my opinion, flawless. I often give them as gifts as mark off my favorite recipes!
