I discovered Alexrod Sour cream about a year ago. I love it because of its texture. It doesn’t have that watery film on the top when you open it like some other brands. Its downfall is that it never seems to be on sale!

Making my own ricotta cheese is on my never ending ‘to-do’ list! Until I get around to that, I need to continue to buy it pre-made. This is not a bad thing because I am addicted to the Calabro brand ricotta. I love it- I just eat it right out of the tub! Its light and fluffy and flavored perfectly!
