Temperature Probe Pot Clip

This $8.00 gadget changed my life! It’s keep the temperature probe in place when frying, making jam, candy and even brewing beer. All these cooking methods require monitoring the temperature of the liquid 100% of the time in order to get the right reactions to take place. However, many pot clips, even the ones from my trusted Thermoworks brand, are single holed and don’t allow you to set the probe at your desired depth. This is problematic because pots are all different sizes and what you put in them also is unique to what you are making, requiring flexibility to to the depth at which the probe sits in the pot. All this is solved by this universal silicone pot clip.

It keeps the thermometer probe in securely in place, and can be positioned at any level, so if you are frying in 2 inches of oil or a full pot of jam, you have total control.

Made with soft silicone compared to the traditional metal clips, this pot clip won’t scratch cookware or damage any surfaces, so you can use it without any worry. It’s a game changer.

When frying anything, managing the temperature is vital to the outcome. Oil temperature drops rapidly when ingredients hit it and you need to adjust your heat thought out the cooking process. You can’t do that correctly, if you don’t know what temperature the oil is.

If you fry at too low a temperature, your ingredients will get soggy and oily rather than crispy and dry. If you fry at too high a temp, things will burn before they cook through. It’s a delicate balance.

Become a better cook.
