The Ultimate Game Day Party Menu

I

love Super Bowl parties! Which is kind of crazy since I don’t follow the sport that closely. But Super Bowl is sort of nostalgic for me. When I was growing up, my grandparents threw EPIC Super Bowl parties. I MEAN EPIC!

At age 6, I was walking around with a tray of hors d’oeuvres asking guests “Would you like a spinach quiche?” I’m talking holding a tray in one hand and cocktail naps in the other!

Looking back, this is where I learned how to host. My aunt taught me to always be polite and if you bring the food to the people, and make them feel comfortable, they’ll eat!

I also grew up thinking the Monday after Super Bowl was  a national holiday. I never went to school on Super Bowl Monday and just assumed everyone had off! As an adult I understand that Super Bowl on the east coast is late and elementary school starts very early and, well…My parents were cool like that! (Thanks ma- you created a party animal 🙂 )

I don’t host the parties of the past, but I do get together with a few close friends and we drink beer and eat lots of bites of yum! This menu is all about my favorite party pleasers on game day!
