User Friendly

The Thermoworks Dot is incredibly user-friendly. Simply select your desired temperature using the up or down buttons, insert the probe into your food, and the Dot® will beep once it reaches the target temperature. It really is as simple as that.

The Dot® was my first purchase from Thermoworks and since then I have become a devoted fan. I now own multiple units, which I use constantly. I also often gift The Dot® to friends and family because I truly believe every kitchen should have one.

Who is the Dot® for?

The Thermoworks Dot® is for anyone who cares about temperature and wants to eliminate stressful cooking!

For example, (personal experience) when investing in a cut of beef, I want to make sure it’s cooked perfectly. The only way that can be done confidently is with the help of a Dot®. With just the one time investment that I made for about $40, I have saved myself the stress of ever ruining an expensive cut of beef, like tenderloin on a holiday, ever again. I will never again have to worry about undercooking a roast chicken, drying out pork chops, or frying at the wrong temperature. In my honest opinion, it has paid for itself and then some. I can no longer imagine cooking without one.

Besides roasts, what else can you use the Dot® for?

The options are really endless, but in my personal experience, I use it most often for:

  • All types of beef, chicken & pork roasts
  • Pork ribs, Brisket, Chicken thighs and other high collagen cuts to ensure tenderness.
  • Reverse seared meats such as Rib Eyes, or Pork Chops
  • Roasted salmon or other thicker fishes
  • Monitor oil temperatures when Frying anything (For frying, you will need this silicone probe holder purchased separately on Amazon.)
